Community Impact Newspaper previously reported that a lawsuit against the district over its mask policies originally had a hearing set for Sept. 23. That hearing has been rescheduled for early November, although it is not clear why.
This is the second time the hearing has been postponed. Court records show the hearing was first set for Sept. 1 before its first rescheduling.
is one of several lawsuits currently lodged against the district. Two lawsuits are from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton over the district's mask mandate, and another is from members of the Board of Trustees who are the subject of resolutions to censure. The board has not yet taken action on the latter suit.
