1. US 75 at Arapaho Road crossing enhancements
Project: Work will include Arapaho Trail improvements, pedestrian lighting, new ramps, a DART bus stop connection and a trail connection under US 75 with a barrier wall between a relocated U-turn lane.
Update: The project is currently under final design.
Project: First Street will be widened from a two-lane rural roadway to a four-lane divided suburban roadway from Dallas North Tollway to Coleman Street.
Update: Construction began May 20, according to the project website.
Project: Work will take place along Park Boulevard between Preston Road and Independence Parkway, including concrete, sidewalks and barrier-free ramps.
Update: Construction started June 1.
Project: The roadway will be upgraded to a median-divided, four-lane road with a 10-foot-wide walk and bike trail and streetlights along both sides.
Update: Bonnie Brae Street is closed from Riney Road to US 77 while crews build new southbound lanes and is expected to reopen in late July.
Project: Ray White Road will be widened to a four-lane divided road between Mirage Drive and the bridge over Bear Creek.
Update: The main lanes and roundabout modifications are now paved. The contractor is in the process of pouring sidewalks and finalizing the installation of streetlights and the traffic signal at Wall Price.
