Bridge rehabilitation work on Jupiter Road and more ongoing transportation updates in Richardson

Ongoing projects

All southbound lanes on the Jupiter Road bridge over Spring Creek, located between Springpark Way and Heather Hill Drive, will be closed to traffic for bridge rehabilitation work. While work is underway, the northbound lanes will be converted to allow for two-way traffic. The work is expected to last about 60 days, weather permitting. Due to the volume of traffic on Jupiter Road, motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route while repairs are taking place. Alternate routes could include Plano Road to the west and Shiloh Road to the east.

2. Utility work near Spring Valley Road/Greenville

Westbound Spring Valley Road between Greenville Avenue and Centennial Boulevard may be closed to traffic and detoured to Centennial from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. due to an emergency repair to an Atmos gas line. The work is expected to be complete by early March.

3. Lane closures expected on Campbell Road near IQ

The right lane of westbound Campbell Road between Glenville Drive and Jay Ell Drive may be closed to traffic from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for fiber optic work by Spectrum. The work is expected to be complete by mid-April.
