Angie Chen Button will be the Texas House District 112 Republican nominee, according to unofficial Dallas County results. With all vote centers reporting, Button received 11,733 votes, or 71.65%. Chad Carnahan received 2,265, followed by Perry Barker with 1,550 and Tina Price with 828.
Button, who has been District 112's state representative since 2009, will appear on the November ballot against Democrat Zach Herbert. Herbert ran unopposed in the Democratic primary.

Incumbent Angie Chen Button has remained in the lead in the Republican primary for Texas House District 112 with 10,753 votes, or 72.38% of the vote. Chad Carnahan has received 13.62%, followed by Perry Barker with 9.11% and Tina Price with 4.88%, according to unofficial election results.
The winner will face Democrat Zach Herbert in the November election, who ran unopposed in the Democratic primary.

According to unofficial early results, Angie Chen Button is leading the Republican primary for Texas House District 112.

Incumbent Button is leading the Republican primary with 73.53% of the vote. Chad Carnahan follows with 13.05% of the vote, as well as Perry Barker with 8.66% and Tina Price with 4.76%.

Button has been District 112’s state representative since 2009. The district primarily covers parts of Richardson, Garland, Sachse, Rowlett and Sunnyvale.
