As part of its month of community service, the city of Richardson is holding its Trash Bash event April 23 at both Richardson City Hall and the Richardson Square Mall.
Held in conjunction with the Keep Texas Beautiful campaign, Trash Bash is an annual event coordinated by the city to “help clean up the community.” Richardson residents are advised to donate during the event as well as dispose of kitchen grease and recycle used electronics.
Similar to last year, there will be no activities held inside City Hall, according to Richardson officials. Instead, there will be drive-thru activities in the City Hall parking lot from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
At City Hall, the Network of Community Ministries will be available during the event to collect donations. Network has posted a list of high-demand items it would prefer donated, including baking supplies, boxed or canned meals, hygiene items and diapers.
