Check out six upcoming events in Prosper and Celina, including a crawfish boil fundraiser and a community block party. This list is not comprehensive.
1. Prosper Firefighters Association Crawfish Boil
Stop by The Tavern in downtown Prosper for the Prosper Firefighters Association’s crawfish boil fundraiser. Admission to the event is based on donations.
2. The Emperor Release Party
Eden Hill Vineyard and Winery marks the release of The Emperor, a red wine made with Aglianico grapes. Tickets include a glass of The Emperor, a scavenger hunt and a bonfire lighting at 7 p.m.
3. Downtown Block Party
Downtown Prosper will host BMX trick riding, local vendors and live music, followed by a Josh Abbot Band concert. The festival is free from 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and tickets are required for the concert.
4. Celina Donut Dash
Celebrate National Donut Day with a 1-mile run with the Celina Police Department. Donuts and coffee will be provided after the race, and merchandise including shirts and finisher medals will be available for purchase.
5. Super Trouper: The ABBA Sensation
Catch classics from ABBA’s catalog on the lawn at Eden Hill Estate. The event is family-friendly, and food and drinks will be available for purchase.
6. Stars, Stripes and Prosper Nights: Car Show
The town of Prosper will host a car show as part of its Prosper America 250 series. Participation in the show is free, and registration is required.
