New restaurant concepts, luxury clothing brands and pet-friendly changes at Legacy Hall highlight the latest news happening at Plano’s popular mixed-use development that includes corporate offices, multifamily homes, retail shopping and eateries.
1. Mendocino Farms, a fast-casual restaurant known for its wide-ranging and seasonally inspired menu options is slated to open July 26 at Legacy West in Plano. The eatery, which will be located at 7700 Windrose Ave., specializes in sandwiches and salads. The menu also features grain bowls, including the Chimichurri Steak & Shishito Bowl made with roasted steak and ancient grains, and tossed with caramelized onion jam, chimichurri, baby spinach, roasted shishito peppers, broccolini, tomatoes, red onions and grilled lemon. 2. Legacy Hall announced May 24 that its venue The Box Garden now allows guests to dine outside with their pets on the patio. Visitors have nearly 20 eateries and five bars to choose from at Legacy Hall, which is located at 7800 Windrose Ave., Plano, in the Legacy West development. 3. Darna Mediterranean Market is now open at Legacy West in Plano. The company’s Facebook page stated it opened May 31 at 7700 Windrose Ave., Ste. G-170. According to its website, the location features a Euro-Mediterranean bazaar and eatery. The website states the market includes Spanish meat boards, European cheeses, French pastries, Italian and Turkish flatbreads, Greek souvlaki, Moroccan spices and Lebanese mezze. It also has a Turkish coffee bar and a full-service alcohol bar. A quick-service deli is also included, the website states.
