Plano residents will be able to pick up a free tree later this month.
What’s happening?
The city is hosting a tree giveaway Oct. 28. Reservations for the giveaway open Oct. 2 on Plano’s website.
The giveaway will have a total of 200 Texas redbuds available to Plano residents, and only one tree can be reserved per household.
Free trees can be picked up Oct. 28 at the Gerald P. Cosgrove Parkway Service Center parking lot, located at 4120 W. Plano Parkway.
Any reserved trees that are not picked up will be made available to Plano residents on a first-come basis.
