A new study aimed at addressing traffic in Plano neighborhoods is set to begin soon.

At their Aug. 11 meeting, Plano City Council members approved a $110,780 contract to study traffic speed and volume levels on various neighborhood streets across Plano.
City Manager Mark Israelson said the study was initially postponed during Plano’s last budget session but is now moving forward.
