200,000-square-foot luxury car garage, event space set for Plano

Work on a luxury vehicle storage facility in Plano that will offer a variety of amenities to sports car owners is set to start this year.

Maranello, a Plano-based luxury auto garages company, is set to start construction on a facility the company calls an “exclusive lifestyle venue for luxury sports car owners,” according to a news release from the company.

The specifics

The 200,000-square-foot facility will be located at the northeast corner of Ohio Drive and Mapleshade Lane, with construction breaking ground in “the coming months,” per the release. The garages are expected to be fully operational by next spring.

The 79 customizable luxury garage spaces, called “garage condos,” will feature two floors with glass garage doors. The space will also include a two-story lounge area and 60,000-square-foot open-air event space in the middle of the building.

Plano City Council approved the project in October.
