A new cat lounge, Kitty Corner, is opening in Plano before the end of the year.
The gist
Co-founder McKenna Campsey said Kitty Corner is a cat-themed space with adoptable cats and themed merchandise. The space will offer claw machines, blind boxes, a photo booth and themed events for cat lovers of all ages.
Campsey said Kitty Corner's mascots, Midnight and Toshi, are two shelter cats that inspired its creation. The business will be partnering with a local rescue to bring adoptable cats to the lounge.
Kitty Corner will be open to the public at limited capacity before the end of November, Campsey said. Its grand opening is planned for Dec. 11 with special activities, promotions and giveaways.
