What will be your top priorities if elected?

1) Reduce water bills for those using less than 10k gallons/month 2) Invest in roads/infrastructure ahead of time 3) Attract major employers to Pflugerville, to provide good jobs for citizens, and to increase our commercial tax base 4) Pay down debt; increase our flexibility to invest in Pflugerville

What uniquely qualifies you for this position?

My career has been solving problems within tight constraints. My accounting background allows me to speak the budget language and get the most bang for your buck on projects to benefit everyone. With our future growth, that’s what we need right now, and I’ll use it to represent you effectively.

What is the greatest challenge facing Pflugerville and how will you address it?

Our greatest challenge, and opportunity, is growth. We are fast becoming a bigger city than we are used to, and it will continue. We must build the infrastructure needed for newcomers, without bankrupting current citizens. My priorities above ensure we both capture the benefits of growth, and meet its challenges.

What’s something you want Pflugerville residents to know about you?

I’m not a politician. I believe in honesty, transparency, and accountability. I want to ensure this city keeps prospering and serving its citizens while growing and I have the skills to deliver on that. I want to serve on the council to represent the interests of all citizens.

What will be your top priorities if elected?

Affordability, economic development, and transparency. As Pflugerville grows, we must protect taxpayers, expand economic opportunity, support local businesses, and ensure residents can trust how decisions are made and how their tax dollars are spent.

What uniquely qualifies you for this position?

I am a 20-year Pflugerville resident, mother, widow, and business owner with federal, state, and local public service experience. I currently serve as Vice President of the Pflugerville Economic Development Corporation. I understand government, business, and the community I am seeking to serve.

What is the greatest challenge facing Pflugerville and how will you address it?

Affordability. Families are feeling economic pressure while our local tax burden remains high. I will advocate for responsible spending, strategic growth, and economic development that strengthens our tax base, creates good jobs, and expands opportunity without placing unnecessary burdens on residents.

What's something you want Pflugerville residents to know about you?

I am the only woman running for City Council this cycle. My experiences as a woman, mother, widow, business owner, and longtime resident have shaped how I understand responsibility for myself and others, economic pressures, and the consequences government decisions can have on everyday families and their lives.

What will be your top priorities if elected?

1. Public Transportation that's Effective and Affordable 2. Becoming Part of Austin Community College District . Vote YES to ACC! 3. Support Fire, EMS, and Police 4. Continue to support small, medium, and large businesses with my personal resources & build more with Pflugerville Community Development Corporation "Move Pflugerville Pforward;"

What uniquely qualifies you for this position?

As a 28 year resident of Pflugerville, I've been a Community Organizer at the local, state, and federal levels the entire time. Currently, I served on the Pflugerville Charter Commission where we evaluated the entire charter for recommendation of improvement and changes to "Move Pflugerville Pforward!"

What is the greatest challenge facing Pflugerville and how will you address it?

The greatest challenge is overcoming the mindset that Pflugerville is NOT the same small town since its inception, and thus, this vastly greater city requires services and amenities appropriate of such a city. I'll help with educating the community on growth areas needed to "Move Pflugerville Pforward!

What’s something you want Pflugerville residents to know about you?

I'm a "Calculated Fighter" who stands firmly on what I've thoroughly researched and chosen a direction. I'll then PUBLICLY make my support known so you will not have to guess where I stand on an issue. Simply Put.. I Get Things Done! That's how I plan to "Move Pflugerville Pforward!"
