The Pflugerville Downtown Action Plan received an update at a recent City Council meeting, charting a course for the future of downtown Pflugerville.
Originally adopted in 2018, the plan is a strategic plan and budgetary tool that outlines projects the city should pursue with the goal of revitalizing downtown.
Council approved an update to the plan Feb. 8 that establishes several immediate, short-term and long-term goals for downtown.
Among the immediate priorities established in the updated plan is development of the Downtown East Project, a 29-acre development on East Pecan Street that is planned to include a recreation center and a new City Hall.
