The restaurant held its soft opening June 18. Rice Stop aims to bring authentic flavors with dishes including staples like egg rolls, orange chicken, lo mein, banh mi, fried rice and vermicelli bowls.
Rice Stop also offers a variety of boba tea options, such as classic milk teas, fruit-infused teas, and specialty drinks with customizable toppings like tapioca pearls, grass jell, or fruit jellies.
The Utah-based company specializes in customizable soda creations, as well as noncarbonated beverages and energy drinks. Customers can personalize their drinks by mixing a variety of flavors, syrups and creams with classic sodas such as Coke and Dr Pepper. The new location is situated next to the Goodwill Star Ranch store.
The store officially opened to the public June 12 and will hold a grand opening June 26, where all customers will receive a free 24-ounce drink of their choice.
Per a project filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation on June 12, the interior build-out of Bitewise Orthodontics, a 1706-square-foot dental clinic, will occur from July 1 to Oct. 1.
Bitewise Orthodontics is locally owned by Dr. Clay Warder, according to the business's website. The clinic will provide personalized care including Invisalign, braces, teen orthodontics, retainers, teeth whitening and other services.
Per a project information filing from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, a 5,600-square-foot tenant space in a newly built building is being renovated for a future location of La Dolce Nail Spa. Renovations would occur from September to June of 2027.
The dental office marked a decade of operation in April, provides general dentistry services and accepts most dental plans.
The locally owned general store was one of 10 Texas recipients of the American Express Shop Small Grant, announced at the end of May. The store won $20,000 to reinvest into the business.
