Early voting began April 22. Residents can vote early in person until April 30. To vote, citizens must present one of the following forms of photo IDs:
- Texas driver’s license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety, or DPS;
- Texas election identification certificate issued by DPS;
- Texas personal identification card issued by DPS;
- Texas handgun license issued by DPS;
- U.S. military identification card containing the person’s photograph;
- U.S. citizenship certificate containing the person’s photograph; or
- U.S. passport, book or card.
Friendswood voters will see City Council Positions 4 and 6 on the ballot. City Council Positions 1, 5 and 6 will be on the ballot for Pearland voters, as will the city's proposed
$80 million bond. Additionally, residents can vote for Pearland ISD trustee Positions 5, 6 and 7 or Alvin ISD trustee Positions 4 and 5, depending on where they are zoned.

Friendswood residents can vote for the Friendswood City Council races at the following locations. Residents who live in the Harris County portion of Friendswood will be able to vote for Friendswood City Council races at Friendswood City Hall and at the Galveston County Justice Center.
