Early voting began April 22. Residents can vote early in person until April 30. To vote, citizens must present one of the following forms of photo IDs:
  • Texas driver’s license issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety, or DPS;
  • Texas election identification certificate issued by DPS;
  • Texas personal identification card issued by DPS;
  • Texas handgun license issued by DPS;
  • U.S. military identification card containing the person’s photograph;
  • U.S. citizenship certificate containing the person’s photograph; or
  • U.S. passport, book or card.
Friendswood voters will see City Council Positions 4 and 6 on the ballot. City Council Positions 1, 5 and 6 will be on the ballot for Pearland voters, as will the city's proposed $80 million bond. Additionally, residents can vote for Pearland ISD trustee Positions 5, 6 and 7 or Alvin ISD trustee Positions 4 and 5, depending on where they are zoned.
