Pearland ISD students will begin school Aug. 13 after the board of trustees approve the 2025-26 academic calendar at its Jan. 14 meeting.
What you need to know
The calendar was established through the 2024-2025 District Advisory Calendar Committee, according to district documents.
According to district agenda documents, scheduled breaks for PISD include:
- Fall break: Oct. 13-14
- Thanksgiving break: Nov. 24-28
- Winter break: Dec. 22-Jan. 6
- Spring break: March 9-13
Student holidays include:
- Labor Day: Sept. 1
- Staff in-service: Sept. 19, Oct. 14, Nov. 3, Jan. 5-6 and Feb. 16
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Jan. 19
- Presidents’ Day: Feb. 16
- Easter: April 3
The last day of school will be May 21, district documents note.
