Brazoria County continues to trend down in average new COVID-19 cases reported throughout November. The county reported 44 new single-day COVID-19 cases Dec. 1, according to the Brazoria County Health Department page.
Of the 44 cases reported on Dec. 1, one of them was over two weeks old, according to Brazoria County’s Twitter account. In addition, the county reported one new COVID-19-related death Dec. 1.
Between Nov. 16 and Dec. 1, Brazoria County is averaging 33.44 new COVID-19 cases each day, which is a decrease from the average between Nov. 1 and Nov. 15 of 44.2 new COVID-19 cases each day, according to data from the BCHD dashboard.
As of Dec. 1, there are 800 active cases of COVID-19 in Brazoria County, which is a decrease of 115 active cases from Nov. 15.
