Texas chain bakery Kolache Shoppe celebrated the one-year anniversary Pearland location on Oct. 5, according to the business's social media post.

"We want to thank our amazing community for all the love and support over the past year," officials said in the social media post.
To celebrate, the location held a family-friendly event with face painting and balloon animals, according to the post.

Unrelated to the anniversary, during October, Kolache Shoppe will serve a pumpkin and cream cheese kolache and a Di Recco kolache. The Di Recco kolache has iced mortadella and creamy crescenza cheese rolled into layers of dough that is brushed with honey butter and topped with Maldon salt.
The business sells hand-made kolaches of different types, breakfast items and coffee, among other items.
