Students with the University of Houston-Clear Lake will be able to receive teaching and learning opportunities at Pearland ISD after the board of trustees approved an agreement with UHCL at its Sept. 8 meeting.
The gist
UHCL students will be able to complete field practice and internships within PISD schools.
While UHCL will select students for placements, students are subject to the district for approval, and a faculty member will serve as the internship or practicum supervisor, according to district documents.
