A handful of food distribution sites across Travis County have been announced following February’s damaging winter storm.
The Central Texas Food Bank, a local food relief nonprofit charity, on March 2 released information on food distribution events for local residents experiencing increased food insecurity due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and lingering effects from damage caused by Winter Storm Uri.
The first event starts March 4 at the Travis County Expo Center. Four other distribution events are planned through the end of March. Residents in need can pick up food at the following sites and times:
