1. Water main upgrades
Austin Water Utility is continuing a project to upgrade wastewater lines in the Barrington Oaks neighborhood to improve capacity. The work affects Danwood Drive from Kapok Lane to Barrington Way and Barrington from Danwood to Pilgrims Place. New wastewater lines have been installed along Danwood, and the city is now adding new curbs, gutters and sod. The street will be repaved next. 2. Repaving frontage roads
The Texas Department of Transportation will resurface the MoPac frontage roads from Parmer Lane to Waters Park Road. Timeline: May-August 2016 Cost: $787,600 Funding sources: TxDOT
3. Parmer Lane repairs
TxDOT will perform pavement repairs and resurface Parmer Lane in Williamson County from SH 45 N to the Travis County line. The project is scheduled to go out for bids for construction in January 2017. Timeline: summer 2017 Cost estimated $3.3 million Funding sources: TxDOT
4. Future Parmer improvements
TxDOT will perform pavement repairs and resurface Parmer Lane in Travis County from the Travis County line to the I-35 southbound frontage road. The project will be bid for construction in March 2017.
