The Pflugerville ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously on March 24 to grant Superintendent Douglas Killian authority to pay district staff during times of emergency, PfISD Communications Officer Tamra Spence said in a March 26 email to Community Impact Newspaper. Trustees additionally voted to allow Killian to continue procurement during emergency closures.
Earlier in March, trustees voted to give staff and faculty a minimum 3% pay raise for the 2020-21 school year.
