Early voting for the District 10 council seat runoff election will begin tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 1 and run through Friday, Dec. 9. First-term incumbent Council Member Sheri Gallo is set to face off against challenger Alison Alter in the only Austin City Council runoff this election cycle. Election day is set for Tuesday, Dec. 13. The two candidates were the top two vote-getters in the Nov. 8 general election, as Gallo received 48 percent of the vote and Alter received 36 percent. Failure by the candidates to receive more than 50 percent of the popular forced a runoff election. The map below shows where early voting polling stations will be located. The red stars reflect the 19 brick-and-mortar locations voters can visit Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The blue trucks reflect the seven mobile voting locations and what days and hours they will be open.
