Anine Bing, a Los Angeles-based women’s fashion brand that started in 2012, is now open at Domain Northside at 11624 Rock Rose Ave., Ste. 100, Austin. Founded by former model, singer and blogger Anine Bing, the attire is inspired by Scandinavian simplicity and American energy to dress women in fabrics, such as leather, silk, linen and cashmere with an attention to shoes and 14-karat gold-plated brass jewelry. Austin-based bake shop Easy Tiger opened a kitchen inside Lavaca Street Bar at Rock Rose at 11420 Rock Rose Ave., Ste. 100, on June 24 at Domain Northside. The eatery serves fresh-baked pretzels with an array of dips as well as charcuterie and sandwiches. Honey Pig Korean BBQ, known for smoky meats that are barbecued Korean-style, held a soft opening July 5 in the H-Mart shopping center at 11301 Lakeline Blvd., Ste. 7, Austin. This is the first Austin location, with other locations in Virginia and Maryland. The menu includes barbecued beef, pork, squid, octopus, chicken and shrimp. Reformation, a clothing brand that carries responsibly made clothing and accessories for women, opened a second Austin store at 11621 Rock Rose Ave., Ste. 116, Austin, at Domain Northside on June 17. The Los Angeles-based store's South Congress location opened in March 2020. The fashion brand uses low-impact materials; rescued deadstock, or remnant fabrics; and repurposed vintage clothing to create limited attire that is less wasteful and exclusive.
