The new St. David’s Emergency Center, which will serve as an extension of St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, opened Jan. 2 at 15610 I-35, near Cabela’s in Buda.


Staffed by board-certified doctors and nurses, the facility has 12 treatment beds, a fully equipped trauma room and advanced imaging technology, among other available services; those needing inpatient treatment will be transferred to area hospitals.
