The first phase of the renovation project is estimated at $11.2 million, and it will include upgrading the parking lot and playable areas as well as updating the restrooms, fencing, dugouts and site amenities, officials said.
Incoming trustees Lesley Guilmart, Cleveland Lane Jr. and Kendra Camarena are set to be sworn in at a Dec. 11 board work session.
The recreation center features updated fitness equipment and expanded restrooms and locker rooms.
The Dec. 4 ruling, which overturned a lower court injunction issued two weeks earlier, comes just four days before the deadline for Texas candidates to file to run in the March primary elections.
The homes will range from 2,584 square feet to 4,500 square feet with one- and two-story floor plans available. The neighborhood is near Little Bear Creek Linear Park and close to a trailhead.
