The most recent figures from the Austin Board of Realtors show that homes in the Lake Travis-Westlake area have retained a steady valuation growth.

Throughout the city of Austin, the median price of single-family homes in September rose 11.9% year over year to $406,000. That number is significantly lower than in the Lake Travis-Westlake area, which is defined by Community Impact Newspaper as encompassing the ZIP codes 78669, 78726, 78730, 78732, 78733, 78734, 78735, 78738 and 78746.

Even though the area's median single-family home value has dipped 4% since September 2018, it is still higher than Austin's, at $569,000, according to ABOR.

Also of note: ABOR figures show that the number of active listings in the Lake Travis-Westlake area for condos, townhouses and single-family homes remains among the highest in the Austin metropolitan area, at 818. That number is surpassed by Georgetown, which has 887; Central Austin, which has 834; Round Rock-Pflugerville-Hutto, which has 891; and Southwest Austin, which has 824 active listings.
