NBU announced Thursday that water operations crews will close the 300 Block of South Castell Avenue on Monday, Aug. 5 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

Crews will perform excavation work and complete water infrastructure repairs, according to an NBU news release.

Traffic in the area will be subject to detours and traffic control signs, as crews safely maneuver materials and equipment.









Water operations crews from New Braunfels Utilities will shut down a portion of South Castell Avenue at the 300 block July 29 and 30 from 8 a.m.-4 p.m., according to an NBU press release.

NBU crews will be excavating across the roadway in order to lay water infrastructure. The scheduled closure is needed to position NBU equipment, materials and crews in a safe manner, the release said.

Traffic will be directed through the area via detours and traffic-control signs. According to the release, barring any unforeseen factors such as weather, the work is slated for completion within the scheduled timeframe.
