Austin-based burger staple Hat Creek Burger Co. plans to begin construction on a Roanoke location later this year.
The company plans to break ground on the new restaurant this fall, Chief Operating Officer Andy Somers told
Community Impact Newspaper. Work is expected to be completed in spring 2020. The new eatery does not have an exact address yet but will be located in front of the Cinemark movie theater at the intersection of state highways 114 and 170.
“We’ve looked at [Roanoke] for a long time and have seen the growth there,” Somers said. “We feel like we’ll pull from the surrounding area, [from] north Keller all the way over to the I-35 area where there’s an interchange of homes and families.”
Like its other locations, the Roanoke restaurant will offer burgers, fries, shakes, salads, beer and wine. It will also offer a breakfast menu.
Hat Creek has 17 locations across Texas, including four in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. The company also has plans to build restaurants in Richardson, Sachse and Mansfield.
