Valley Ridge intersection complete
Work to reconstruct the intersection at Valley Ridge Boulevard and Mill Street in Lewisville was completed at the end of April. There was a dip in the intersection that caused some eastbound and westbound traffic to bottom out upon crossing the intersection at the posted speed limit, so the city adjusted the intersection grades. In addition, some of the crosswalks at the intersection were not compliant with the American with Disabilities Act, so those were addressed as well. Valley Ridge between Mill and Kealy Avenue was previously closed as a traffic-control measure.
