Following an eight-month makeover, renovations for Market Street-The Woodlands were completed April 22, developers Trademark Property Company said.

The renovations of the mixed-use property focused on Market Street's Central Park area, installing weather-resistant synthetic turf, new seating areas, pergolas, sustainable lighting systems and a modern interactive water feature and deck. Market Street is located between Lake Woodlands Drive and Lake Robbins Drive, west of Six Pines Drive.

Other additions to Market Street include pedestrian pathways with parking and traffic management improvements, shaded areas with furniture and renovated bathrooms with water bottle fill stations, according to a news release.

"It's all about creating a more experiential setting," Market Street general manager Jenny Taylor said. "We want our public spaces to create a personal connection and offer unique surroundings that our guests can immerse themselves in. We look forward to sharing these beautiful updates with our community."

Along with Market Street, tenants Hyatt Centric-The Woodlands, Cinemark Theater and Tommy Bahama all recently completed renovations and revitalizations.

A weekly concert series also launched at the site this month, and it will continue through June.
