Bee Cave City Council approved a conditional-use permit to allow an assisted-living facility in the city’s Town Center district during its March 12 meeting. City documents state the property, located at the 3900 block of RM 620 in Bee Cave, is about 3.56 acres and sits between the Park at Bee Cave development and the Austin Shoe Hospital/Austin Septic Supply businesses.
The Longleaf Bee Cave project would be an 88-unit assisted-living and memory care development in a roughly 70,000-square-foot building, according to city documents. Information from the city also states the facility would have 51 parking spaces and an average of 11-13 employees per shift. Among the conditions for the permit, delivery and other service vehicles accessing the property will be required to enter and exit only from RM 620.
