Texas Department of Transportation crews are working to replace and widen the FM 2978 bridge over Spring Creek from two to four lanes with shoulders along the roadway. Due to weather delays, the project’s end date has been delayed from the second quarter of 2020 to the third quarter of 2020, according to TxDOT.
