Medical City McKinney, located at 4500 Medical Center Drive, announced Andrew Zenger as new chief operating officer for the hospital, beginning Feb. 1.

Prior to this position Zenger has worked at several of the Medical City system’s North Texas hospitals, including Medical City Arlington, Plano, Dallas and as administrative resident at the division office.

Since January 2018, Zenger has served as the assistant administrator at Medical City Arlington, where he oversaw clinical and support departments and hospital throughput, and he also served as interim director of the physician and provider relations team and played a major role in strategic planning and service line development.

“Andrew’s experience developing service lines will be essential as we continue to embark on
expansion projects that add quality and convenient care for our patients,” Medical City McKinney CEO Ernest C. Lynch, III said in a news release. “We are excited Andrew will be joining our team and getting involved in our growing community.”

Medical City McKinney’s new chief medical officer Dr. Jaya Kumar will also begin working at the hospital in February.
