South Austin’s Urban Air Adventure Park, located at 4500 S. Pleasant Valley Road, Bldg. 1, Ste. 106, Austin, had a grand opening Oct. 20 that brought about 1,300 people to the new entertainment center.

With over 50 locations in the U.S., Urban Air Adventure Park offers indoor trampolines, climbing walls, obstacle courses, sports areas, playscapes and an on-site cafe. The South Austin location, which was developed and is managed by Pinkal and Jemish Kikani, is the first to feature bowling, laser tag and virtual reality video games.

“We wanted to give families more options and a variety of attractions so kids can have more fun,” Pinkal said. “As the Austin area grows we definitely thought there was a need [for us] to get to the families in the South Austin area, and we’re just so excited to provide the community with a safe and affordable experience for the family.”

Jemish said bowling and the virtual reality video games were added to offer something for parents to do as children play on the obstacle course or the center’s other features. Additional arcade games could be added in the coming months, he said.

The center offers reservation packages for birthday parties, corporate events and other large gatherings. Spirit nights—where a percentage of the proceeds go to local education—will also be announced in the future, Jemish said.
