The Williamson County Commissioners Court named Rebecca Clemons as director of administration for Williamson County on Tuesday, according to a news release.
As the director of administration, Clemons will report to the Commissioners Court and is responsible for performing observational business-operations reviews and conducting research, among other responsibilities, the release stated.
Clemons begins her new position Oct. 19.
She has worked for Williamson County for 12 years, including for the county auditor and budget officer. She was previously the executive assistant to County Judge Dan Gattis, according release said.
