Georgetown ISD will host five community presentations over the next four weeks on the district's $166 million bond election on Nov. 6. The GISD board of trustees voted Aug. 15 to call the bond election, which includes no proposed tax-rate increase. The presentations will be held in various locations around the district and will allow the public  opportunities to ask questions about the bond package. Two presentations will be delivered entirely in Spanish.

GISD bond community presentations:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 25, 6:30-7:30 p.m. at Pickett Elementary School cafeteria, 1100 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Georgetown (*Spanish presentation)
  • Monday, Oct. 8, 6-7 p.m. at Carver Elementary School cafeteria, 4901 Scenic Lake Drive, Georgetown
  • Tuesday, Oct. 9, 6-7 p.m. at Benold Middle School cafeteria, 3407 Northwest Blvd., Georgetown
  • Monday, Oct. 22, 6-7 p.m. at Purl Elementary School cafeteria, 1953 Maple St., Georgetown (*Spanish presentation)
  • Tuesday, Oct. 23, 6-7 p.m. at Ford Elementary School cafeteria, 210 Woodlake Drive, Georgetown
