While a few Montgomery entities are holding their last public hearings on tax rates before voting this week, Southern Star Brewing is also releasing a new lager for Hispanic Heritage Month.
1. The last public hearing on the county tax rate is Wednesday
Montgomery County Commissioners Court will meet for a special session Wednesday, Sept. 5, at 9:30 a.m., for the last public hearing on the tax rate. 2. The last public hearing on the city of Montgomery's tax rate is Tuesday

3. Honor Hispanic Heritage with beer
