Part of Butler Road will be closed next week to allow crew to repair a damaged water main, according to a League City press release.
The north- and southbound lanes of Butler Road will be closed at the I-45 southbound frontage road exit starting Monday. Motorists will still be able to access local businesses via League City Parkway, according to the release.
Large trucks traveling south on I-45 en route to Butler Road should exit FM 518 and continue west to Hobbs Road, then turn south onto Hobbs Road, and finally turn east onto League City Parkway to Butler Road, according to the release.
Repairs are expected to be complete by the end of the week, but that depends on what is found after excavating the roadway to access the water main, according to the release.
