Georgetown ISD Board of Trustees announced Thursday they will hear recommendations by the Citizens Advisory Committee on a possible 2018 bond election.

The CAC is comprised of district stakeholders that provide facility and equipment recommendations to the Board of Trustees after having studied current facilities, educational programs, student population trends associated with the school district and other data relevant to providing quality educational programs for all students, according to the district website.

The committee will present potential bond items to the board on Monday, Aug. 13 at 5 p.m. in the GISD Administration Building, 603 Lakeway Drive.

If the board calls for the bond election, it will appear on the November ballot.
