The city of Pflugerville announced Tuesday that a portion of Kelly Lane will close for most of the day Saturday, Aug. 4, while construction crews work on the Weiss Lane Roadway Project.

Kelly Lane will be closed to traffic from the intersection at Weiss Lane to Pleasant Bay beginning 7 a.m. Saturday. The roadway will remain closed until 6 p.m., weather permitting.

Traffic will be detoured via Hidden Lake Drive and Hidden Lake Crossing to Weiss Lane. City officials urge residents to drive carefully through the construction detours.

Crews will work on pipe trenching during the duration of the road closure, according to Terri Toledo, public information officer for the city of Pflugerville.
