The Texas Department of Agriculture and Leander ISD teamed up this summer to offer free meals for children age 1-18 years, according to a statement from LISD.

Breakfast and lunch are served at Running Brushy Middle School, Twin Lakes Fellowship and Reed Elementary School at no cost to children through June and July. Adults may purchase breakfast for $2.25 and lunch for $4.25, according to the LISD's website.

Families do not need to be Leander or Cedar Park residents, attend LISD or fill out an application to participate in the program.
