The Woodlands Township is now one of the 11 Global Entry enrollment sites located in Texas and will now offer international travelers a more convenient way to expedite their return home. U.S. Customs and Border Protection offers Global Entry enrollment, which is a trusted traveler program that allows for expedited clearance of pre-approved, low-risk travelers, to streamline the international arrivals process at airports. The program is currently available at 53 U.S. airports and 15 pre-clearance locations. Enrollment in the Global Entry program is available every other Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Woodlands Township, located on Technology Forest Boulevard in The Woodlands. According to U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials, benefits of becoming a Global Entry member include expedited processing, no paperwork and no minimum number of international trips are required to qualify for the program.
