Here are the results from the informal poll
Community Impact Newspaper posted on Nextdoor on April 21 asking when people intended to vote in the upcoming local elections in western
Travis County.
Community Impact Newspaper has no way of knowing if respondents are registered voters, but this small sample appears to show a trend of when people are voting:
- Two thirds—67 percent—of 146 respondents indicated they would be voting early;
- 18 percent said they would be out election day, May 5, to mark their ballot;
- 10 percent indicated they would not vote; and
- 5 percent said they want to cast a ballot but are unable to for a variety of reasons.
Early voting for races and propositions in Bee Cave, Briarcliff, Lakeway and Lake Travis ISD ends May 1.
Here are
early and mail-in voting totals by jurisdiction as of April 29.
