At the March 5 council meeting, members approved a master plan for the Gibson-Grant Log House, which is located at the intersection of Flower Mound Road and Quail Run. The log house was constructed between 1800-1861 and was acquired in 2015 by the town of Flower Mound with the intent of restoring the log house. The master plan will serve as a guide in the restoration of the log house. The $1.48 million plan includes a proposed site plan and floor plan, probable costs, phasing options and a future maintenance plan.
