Community members can submit comments to the Federal Railroad Administration through March 9 regarding Texas Central’s high-speed train before a final environmental impact statement is compiled. The comment period was previously scheduled to close Feb. 20.

Montgomery County Precinct 2 Commissioner Charlie Riley hosts annual cleanup event for residents of Precinct 2. Residents can drop off heavy trash items. Texas Security Shredding is on-site to shred confidential documents free of charge.
