Diva Dash 5K


The Diva Dash 5K is a fun run open to women. Runners can participate as individuals or in a team. The dash includes a run for children age 8 and younger. Proceeds from the event go to Culture of Health Advancing Together. 8 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 8. $15-$40. Pearland Town Center, 11200 Broadway St., Pearland.

BACH fundraiser

Brazoria County Association for Children with Handicaps, or BACH, presents its annual fundraising event, Roll ‘N Stroll & Carnival. Families can take their children to enjoy races, carnival games and prizes, music and photos. Proceeds benefit BACH. 9-11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 17. VFW Valentine's Day dance 


The Pearland Veterans of Foreign Wars is hosting a Valentine’s Day Dance, complete with dinner, dancing and live entertainment by country and rock band Ronnie Coleman. Denim and Daisies   


The Alvin/Pearland Metro Go Texan Committee of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo hosts the Denim & Daisies Dinner Dance.
