With the most celebrated football game of the year coming up, it is time to consider where to go to grab a cold drink, some good food and a good seat to watch the game. Here are eight local events to catch some pigskin action.

1. Super Bowl Sunday Fun Day! at Drix Restaurant and Lounge


The eatery will host its watch party featuring a variety of specials including a $12 appetizer buffet and a 4-7 p.m. happy hour.
