Ask the editor: What is the Annual Community Guide?

As we begin the new year in Pearland and Friendswood, we hope you will find this edition of Community Impact Newspaper particularly useful when planning activities in 2018 and eating and shopping local.

We have revamped our January edition into the Annual Community Guide to include listings of local business and dining options in both Pearland and Friendswood as it is part of our mission to help local businesses in the community thrive.

In addition to the listings this issue also features five stories to watch in 2018, including updates on the Hwy. 288 toll road project, a new master-planned community in Friendswood and more.

You may notice several of our standing sections—real estate and Impacts, for example—are missing from this issue, but worry not as they will be back next month for the remainder of 2018. As always feel free to email or call us with any story ideas or new business information. We hope you have a great year!
