The unique cookie sandwich costs $2.50 and is made with two soft ginger snap cookies separated with a layer of lemon cream filling. It will be available until January.
“It sounds exotic, but it’s very good,” manager Carolina Jara said. “Our treat baker, Danielle, came up with the idea, and we did some taste tests with it and decided to put it out. We’ve had a very good response from our customers, so we’re very excited about it.”
Megan Teismann took ownership of Sweet Revenge Bake Shoppe in 2014. In addition to cookies, the bakery also offers cakes, pies, cupcakes, cake balls and dessert bars. The shop plans to add homemade cinnamon rolls to its menu in the near future.
The shop also offers custom orders, seasonal decorated sugar cookies and personalized cakes.
